Mabonford Press was founded in October 2024 by author N.C. McCarthy, with a desire to bring short form narrative back to the forefront of literature.

 

Deeply Inspired by the rich history of Victorian publishing, Mabonford Press' debut publication was 'RISCHT! A BONFIRE SUITE', six interlinked short stories which centre around Bonfire Night celebrations, written by the founder.

Suites, Nocturnes, Idylls, Aquarelles, these are just some of the formats you can come to expect from Mabonford Press.

In the near future, Mabonford Press shall introduce its 'Past Leaves' imprint, which include beautifully reproduced, forgotten children's literature from the Victorian & early Edwardian eras.
